  • About Me

I am a 28 year old Christian female living in Houston, Texas (USA).  I am blessed to have two beautiful God-children (8 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy) and the opportunity to be a part of their lives, though not nearly as much as I'd like these days.

I volunteered for the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign and am continuing the battle to restore personal liberty in America as a Precinct Manager for the Campaign For Liberty.   I love God, my family, and my country.

I am a secretary for an industrial parts distribution warehouse.  I have a degree in broadcasting & public relations and a background in journalism.  I love to write, and I love learning about different countries, cultures, interests, and beliefs.

I have one cat that's mine, and another half-dozen or so that constantly drop by my house in search of food.  I sponsor a little girl (age 10) in Ethiopia through Compassion International.  I support and pray for the persecuted church through The Voice of the Martyrs.

My interests include faith, freedom, politics, prophecy, current events, and how it all fits together.  The long version is... life.  Everything in it.  Everything about it.  The world we live in, what's going on, what it means, and why we're here.  Have I mentioned that I have leanings towards the philosophical?

    Speaking of philosophy...

My religious philosophy is that faith is between a person and God.  Maybe we don't call him by the same name, or use the same words to describe our faith.  That's okay.  I will share my faith with you, because I believe that is what God wants me to do - but, the same way that he gives me free choice to accept him or not, I will not attempt to force my faith on anyone else.  I believe that this world is big enough for all of us, and we can be friends regardless of our differences.

My political philosophy is much the same.  I believe that the best thing any of us can do is get involved in our society's political process.  Even if we don't agree on the issues, or what to do about them, that's okay.  I may not agree with you, but I will defend at any cost your right to have your own opinions and beliefs - and I hope that you will do the same for others.

What is one thing most folks on Xanga probably don't know about you?
