Once again, I am opening my blog to prayer requests on the Sabbath. Please post your prayer requests, or pray with those already posted.

Thus heaven and earth were completed with all their array. On the seventh day God had completed the work he had been doing. He rested on the seventh day after all the work he had been doing. God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on that day he rested after all his work of creating (Gen 2:1-3).
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy" (Ex 20:8-11)
"But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him." Psalm 4:3
"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight." 1 John 3:22
"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." Matt. 6:7

Heavenly and most gracious Father we come before you this day to ask for your mercy and protection for our troops, wherever they may be stationed around the world. Protect them and bring them home safely.
We ask also for your guidance and assistence as our nation's leaders try to find a stable course through the difficult economic times that we currently face. Grant them the wisdom to find the proper solutions and to do that which is right in Your Eyes.
And for our families and friends, Father, we ask for good health and the richness of your blessings.
We ask these things in the Precious and Holy Name of your Son and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus of Nazareth, who is also called The Christ.
Please pray for me and for my increased knowledge and understanding with this exam I am struggling with. Please pray that this can now finally come to an end for me. No I will not elaborate what exam; those who know me know as do I, all too well. Please just pray.
Please pray for me... I am feeling rather stressed out lately. My husband's job is very stressful on our family right now because of all the hours his boss is making him put in. And I am very worried about the upcoming Senate vote on Cap and Trade... I feel rather helpless. I need some peace amidst all of this insanity.
