... The fifth of November.
Two years ago today, I was merrily draining my bank account for the Ron Paul '08 moneybomb (that made history for the largest amount of money raised by a candidate in a single day, for what it's worth). And I don't regret one cent that I spent, for those who are wondering.
In honor of that day, I drove around my neighborhood at lunch today and snapped some pictures to remind us of the insanity and amusement of those early days of the campaign. Despite two years worth of weather (including a major hurricane) since then, quite a bit of evidence remains.
This is on a light-pole in the McDonals's parking lot...
How'd that get there?
Or this one, on the electric meter by the freeway...
Don't ask me why there's an electric meter by the freeway. I have no idea.
Nor do I have any clue how this could have possibly ended up on the phone switch box by Subway...
I certainly didn't have anything to do with any of this mischief.

I sure do miss those days. Ron Paul was HOPE for America. 2012, we'll do it all over again if he's willing
hehehe, funny.
Maybe with the current goings on in the White House the people of the United States of America will be more willing to take a serious look and 3rd party candidates - and possible vote one into office.
@mpwarren - No sadly those who hate Obama, for the most part, think the Old White Guy would have made everything okay.
