This list of "News" stories points out a major problem with accepting the "Unfiltered News" site as worth very much. If the news was really "unfiltered" it would contain a more balanced look at news. This site seems to report only stories that refute or run counter to major news stories - mostly from a more-or-less radical anti-liberal viewpoint.

I enjoy looking over the stories you recommend - please keep them coming as they give me both a good chuckle and some insight on the strange world of the gullible and uninformed

@tychecat - It isn't meant to be an all-inclusive news source.  It is meant to share those stories that have been overlooked, for the most part, by the mainstream media in America.  The point is, that no single news source, is capable of covering everything from every possible angle.  The danger is in relying on one source alone as though they are the only authority on news.

Wendi:You you are of course right.

My criticism is that many [most?] of the articles mentioned are opinions or responses to mainstream news articles. An example is the article mentioning the climate change/global warming problem.Last summer I had the chance to talk to Prof. Harold Born about the evidence (He's one of those responsible for starting and implementing the collection of deep ice cores from Greenland and Antarctica - I think there is a glacier or something named after him). He told me (and others) that the evidence showed massive rises in CO2 content during the last hundred years - far more then ever before. He had no doubt about the severity of the problem and was very persuasive in his arguments. He was talking to a very conservative crowd - they went away convinced.  His speciality is paleologeology - the study of past environmental changes at the most fundimental and ancient level.

Of course we're not going to see this in the mainstream media.  They're nothing but propaganda machines here in America.
